Do you love watching horrible movies on Netflix?
Just the other day, I watched "Sharknado." Normally, this isn't something I would admit, but when my son Ian had friends over for movie night, they saw Sharknado in the recently watched queue and the jokes ensued.
Netflix is aware that this happens to tons of people everywhere so it's testing a privacy feature that will hide your horrible taste in movies.
For now, it's being called "Privacy Mode" and it will keep any movie you view in Privacy Mode from appearing in your viewing activity log and will not be used to recommend you similar movies.
However, don't get too excited just yet. Depending on how the tests go, Cliff Edwards, the director of corporate communications and technology, said it's possible the technology might not be offered to the general public. He said a rollout will be dependent on how it tests.
