High-class call girl charged in Google exec's heroin overdose

The case of the Google executive's death just gets wilder all the time.

Alix Catherine Tichelman appeared in a Santa Cruz court on Wednesday. Eight months after the death of Google exec Forest Hayes, the 26-year-old call girl stands accused of manslaughter.

While the exec's heroin overdose was originally ruled as accidental, security camera footage changed authorities' minds.

Santa Cruz police say that surveillance cameras mounted in the boat -- which upload to a cloud server -- showed Hayes clutching his chest after Tichelman injected the heroin. She tried to prop him up, but after he passed out, she coolly gathered the needles and heroin, stepping over him and finished a glass of wine. Before leaving, she lowered a blind and closed the boat's door. His body was found the next morning by the ship's captain.

Authorities are also looking into a heroin overdose of an ex-boyfriend of Tichelman's a mere two months before the exec's death.

Tichelman was charged with manslaughter, heroin possession, administering heroin, transport of a controlled substance -- all felonies, and misdemeanor charges of concealing and destroying evidence.
