To the average person, fonts aren't exactly the most exciting this to talk about. Unless you use this font to save your money on printer ink - saving money is always exciting.
A new experiment from office supply company Bic is hoping to get the entire world excited about fonts ... well, actually, just one font.
It's called the Universal Typeface Experiment and it's looking to find the world's universal typeface. A special algorithm will pull from the hundreds of thousands of samples of handwriting submitted on the site to come up with an average, or universal, font for the entire world.
So far, more than 600,000 people from 101 countries have submitted their samples. Will you submit yours? All you need to do is click "Contribute" when on the home page and follow the instructions from there.
