Are you looking for more online cloud storage? How does 100 gigabytes of storage for $2 a month sound?
Microsoft is kicking its newly rebranded cloud storage, OneDrive, into high gear following the reports that Apple is lowering iCloud storage prices and Amazon is offering free unlimited photo uploads for the new Amazon Fire phone.
In the next month, Microsoft will be lowering its prices for storage space in the cloud to $2 for 100GB (down from $7.50 a month) and $4 for 200GB (down from $11.50 a month).
If you're not interested in paying for storage, there's still good news for you. The free amount is also going up from seven free gigabytes to 15GB.
There's even more good news. If you subscribed to Office 365 then you now get one terabyte (that's 1024 GB) of cloud storage space for free instead of the previous 20GB. And that's per person, not account.
So, Microsoft lovers rejoice and abound in your new and improved cloud storage spaces. Just be sure to back up your important information somewhere safe.
