We've seen some amazing, funny, odd stuff on Google Street View. From a crazy half cat, to a cheating fiance to a breakup that may or may not be faked - you never know what the Google cameras are going to capture.
Knowing that, a couple of mechanics in Scotland decided to have a little fun.
Tomson Motor Works is on a horseshoe-shaped street. When Dan Thompson, the owner, saw the Google Street View car go up the street, he knew it would be coming back around in a couple of minutes.
I had just enough time to whip in, grab [employee] Gary [Kerr] and a pick-ax handle and he came out to give me a so called 'Leith massage,' which is essentially being bashed.
The images went up way back in 2012. Suddenly, the police showed up.
A WPC [female police officer] has her car serviced here and she said 'I know exactly what's going on here — it's a wind up.' They came in and said 'you guys, do you happen to know anything about this?' We explained what had happened. They were smiling when they came in and were roaring with laughter when they left.
