Apple now offers educational discounts on the iPad

Good news for students! Apple decided to add the iPad Air, iPad, iPad Mini and iPad Mini with Retina display to its Discount Education store.

Qualifying education shoppers - teachers, students, or anyone with a .edu account - can get $30 off the iPad Air, or $20 off the iPad Mini. It's not a massive savings, but I'll take it!

Could it be that Apple is offering the discounts ahead of an education initiative to be announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference coming up on Monday? We're already expecting iOS 8 and maybe, just maybe, the new iPhone.

Stay tuned to what's Happening Now. I'll have all the news as it breaks.
