We've let the Internet polls decide just about everything else, from NASA spacesuits to a child's name - why not politics?

Engineers and developers have come up with a plan to replace politicians with software. PlaceAVote will be a digital polling platform, with the public directly telling politicians where they stand and how to vote.

Already, there are two politicians in California who pledge to vote whatever way the polling on PlaceAVote tells them to vote. Twenty more such candidates are on the way for 2016, reportedly.

If any of those candidates win they'd then have to find a way to get a private key code out to each and every one of their constituents. That key along with a unique identifier, such as social security number would be needed to log into the PlaceAVote system, which makes security one of its biggest priorities.

I don't know about you, but this sounds ripe for the hacking to me. Voter fraud? Probably.

What do you think? Tell me below.
