The NSA is watching everything. Texts in Iraq? Check. Calls in Bermuda? Check.

And of course, you know even your email isn't safe. Google might even be giving the NSA your Gmail.

So where do you go to keep the NSA from spying on your email? Would you believe overseas?

A new service called ProtonMail is offering completely NSA-proof email. The email is encrypted, protected by Swiss privacy laws and "forever free." ProtonMail says it won't ever read your data and won't track users.

ProtonMail was founded in summer 2013 at CERN by scientists who were drawn together by a shared vision of a more secure and private Internet. Early ProtonMail hackathons were held at the famous CERN Restaurant One.

ProtonMail is developed both at CERN and MIT and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

It's a popular idea - so popular, in fact, that ProtonMail has had to suspend sign ups. The company  is increasing server capacity and security.

You can request an invite to ProtonMail here.
