If it's not one thing it's another over at Facebook. It recently changed its messenger, ditched its regular design, and even wants your private content.  I even showed you how Facebook has been killing your battery life.

This time, Facebook is devouring your data plan. Not good.

Now, I'm sure you've seen videos playing on Facebook. Those videos are the culprit.

To prevent Facebook from stealing your data, you will need to set your phone or tablet to play those videos over Wi-Fi only.  Here's how to stop Facebook from carelessly eating up your data:

Android users need to go into the Facebook app and adjust the settings. Go to App settings then turn on Wi-Fi only under Video Auto-play.

Apple users need to go into the phone's or tablet's settings. Go to Settings>> Facebook>> Settings and turn on Auto-play to Wi-Fi only.

Speaking of data, there is an app to help your data plan.  Try out a program like Onavo Extend. It automatically compresses the data that other apps use. This helps you get up to five times more use out of your current data plan.

Speaking of Facebook, here are 5 Facebook problems you need to fix now.
