It's no secret that BlackBerry has struggled as of late.

Since last year, it reported the largest loss of its entire corporate history, was hit by Heartbleed, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

The company however thinks it can turn itself around by bringing back a few classic features: The touchpad and physical buttons. Fitting enough, the new phone will be called the BlackBerry Classic.

Speaking at an event in Toronto on Thursday morning, Jim Mackey, BlackBerry’s executive vice-president of operations, said BlackBerry Classic is a direct response to user feedback and will appeal to the “muscle memory” of users that handled its first hardware with function keys and other features that had been removed from more recent models.

“Let’s be honest, it’s the phone that millions of users know and love,” he said.

What do you think? Are you sick of touch screens? Will you be getting a BlackBerry Classic? Let me know what you think by posting in the comments below.
