According to a new Nielsen report, the average U.S. home gets a record number of channels - but still only tunes in to 17 of them!
In fact, from 2008, the number of channels available to the average television-watching household increased from 129 to 189 - a record. And the number of TV channels we watched? Steady every year at 17, give or take tenth of a percentage point.
