Goofy parents let the Internet name their baby

Goofy parents let the Internet name their baby

Sure, there are some Internet-inspired baby names out there. Take Hashtag Jameson for example.  But would you let the Internet name your baby?

In January, expectant father Stephen McLaughlin registered the domain name NameMyDaughter.com and encouraged anyone on the Internet to submit and vote for the best name for their daughter.

The winner? Cthulhu All-Spark. Cthulhu took home the top honors of best first name, while All-Spark won for middle name.

But don't worry, the baby girl's name isn't really Cthulhu All-Spark. The family decided to go with the second most popular names offered up on the site:  Amelia Savannah Joy McLaughlin, with Amelia having more than 150,000 votes.
