The best books from the source of the best reviews

If you’re a book reader, no doubt you research reviews before you pick your next tome. There are many places online to get reviews — like Goodreads and The Millions — but only one site is connected to the best book reviews written.

And this site also hosts a great book review podcast that will give you what you need to know.

The Book Review from the New York Times goes deep to find the best of the best.

The world’s top authors and critics join host Pamela Paul and editors at The New York Times Book Review to talk about the week’s top books, what we’re reading and what’s going on in the literary world.

Recent episodes included Michael McFaul discussing  “From Cold War to Hot Peace: An American Ambassador in Putin’s Russia,” Jonathan Haidt discusses “The Coddling of the American Mind” and Kim Brooks discusses “Small Animals: Parenthood in the Age of Fear.”

These interviews and reviews are more than just surface treatments, and are worth it for the serious reader.

The Book Review is available at Google Play, iTunesSpotify and Stitcher.
