If you've downloaded Microsoft's Windows 10 operating system, you've noticed there's a lot to like about it. Among other things. you may have noticed it boots up faster than previous OSs, notably Windows 7.
Microsoft has also made upgrades specifically with gamers in mind. With Windows 10, you'll notice that game play is faster.
Unfortunately, if you loved some games on Windows 7 like Spider Solitaire, Minesweeper and others, you won't find them on Windows 10. But that doesn't mean you can't play them.
Note: For Solitaire on Windows 10, go to your Start menu >> All Apps >> Microsoft Solitaire Collection >> follow the instructions to play. Find Minesweeper in the Microsoft Store.
Click on the blue link below. Scroll down to Windows 7 Games Archive; click on it. Choose the gray Download to Your Browser tab (don't click on MEGAsync Download).
When it's complete, open the zip file. Note: Double click on the Win7GamesForWin10-Setup application >> Run. Follow the installation instructions (this may take several minutes). Do not sign up for a MEGAsync account, if you see a pop-up window about that.
You'll see a list of Windows 7 games, like Minesweeper. Unclick the games you don't want to install. Follow the installation instructions for the games you do want to install.
