Mac users are used to beautiful design - Apple's keen aesthetic sensibility, guided by Chief Design Officer Jonathan Ive, spans from its stores to its phones. It's one of the characteristics of Macs that keeps users loyal to the brand.
Those of us that work on Mac desktops and laptops appreciate their elegant beauty as well, and often accentuate it with the wallpapers on our screens. Some personalize theirs with their own photographs, but many use the pre-loaded wallpapers that come with your Mac. The only problem is there is a limited number of them.
Enter Kuvva, a repository for artists to license their work, even for your computer's wallpaper. Kuvva features a broad selection of pieces from photographers, graphic designers and illustrators, and with Kuvva Wallpapers you get new artwork as often as you'd like.
When installed, Kuvva's controls nest in the menu bar near the date and time. If you don't like the wallpaper in front of you, you can click "next" and receive a new piece of art to complement your Mac. You choose from a stream of featured artists, popular images or your own favorites (once you've registered and start building a collection of favorites). Then, as often as you'd like - every hour, even - new wallpapers arrive on your Mac exactly when you've scheduled them to.
