If you've had your PC for any amount of time, chances are the companies that manufacture its guts - the hardware inside - have updated the drivers that run the hardware. But how can you check for driver updates?
It's not a simple process, unless you have DUMo, the Drivers Update Monitor. This free tool scans your system and shows you the names, manufacturers and current driver versions.
Once you install DUMo and run it on your PC, you'll see a list of your hardware devices along with their drivers. Then, if there are updates to the drivers, you just double-click to see what the latest version is. If you don't have the latest driver update, the program will launch a custom Google search with a list of all the websites that have the update you're looking for.
DUMo also shows you your CPU and RAM usage. If these are running high, you should close some programs to avoid your PC freezing up or crashing. Click the blue download button below to get DUMo and keep your PC optimized with the latest drivers.
