Have a project that needs to be done? Let's say you're having a garage sale and want to print out flyers to hang around the neighborhood. Maybe it's time to dust off your old résumé and give it a new look. Or maybe you want to create a better business card.
No matter what the reason is, you can use Microsoft Office to create all sorts of useful documents for work and home, like résumés, invoices, family trees and just about anything else you can imagine.
But, formatting those forms yourself can be time-consuming. Why go through the trouble of making your own custom forms and designs when someone's already done all that hard work you?
When starting your project, first check out all the available templates for the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. And better yet, templates are available in a wide range of categories, from brochures and budgets to calendars and certificates, flyers, posters, memos, résumés, surveys ... you get the idea, there's a lot here.
And did we mention that all of these templates are free to download? All you need is a Microsoft Office account to get started. Don't have one? You can get one here.
Once you're signed in, you're ready to get started. Now, you can open any template by double clicking on it. Each template is then opened in the cloud, and will automatically be saved to your OneDrive. This way, you can access your work on your computer, smartphone or tablet.
The next step is to play around with your design, import your text and complete your project. What great things will you come up with?
