Whether you're signing up for a new cellular plan, applying for a credit card, buying an internet connection, or anything else, you want to make sure you're getting the best deal. However, given how many options you typically have, that isn't easy.
It gets even harder when you add in sales hype, confusing terminology, deals that come and go and fine print. It's almost enough to make you just pick something at random and be done with it. However, there's a better way.
Check out a site called MyRatePlan that's been offering comparison help since 1999. It deals with cellphones and cellphone plans, home phones, business phones, credit cards, bank accounts, TV service, internet service, entertainment bundles, insurance and travel. Just select your category and tell the site what you're looking for. It finds you plans and deals that match what you want.
However, MyRatePlan doesn't just give you options and leave you in a vacuum. It also explains what you're looking at. Under the credit card section, for example, it gives a detailed explanation of credit card types, unravels some of the terms you'll encounter, and explains why certain ones are good for specific situations. It even has articles on paying off credit card debt.
