There are websites that use satellite images to hunt for hidden letters, and take photos of Earth from space, but now there's a site that uses aerial photos to help people conduct research.

Have you ever wondered what your city looked like 10, 15 or 20 years ago? If you've lived in one place for a long period of time, you're probably curious to see all of the changes that occurred. Or, if you're researching an area affected by a natural disaster, you might want access to historical data and images of the region.

Whether you're looking for information about a particular city, the neighborhood you grew up in or even your childhood home, Historical Aerials can help. The site uses a variety of government sources to collect satellite imagery for anywhere in the U.S.

The site also has a section where you can locate information on real-estate properties, including: property reports, parcel maps and document images. With this information you can trace a property's ownership, view the deed, locate comparable properties, etc.
