It's never too early to start geeking out on the seventh installment in the "Star Wars" franchise, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." It doesn't premiere until Dec. 18, but tickets are already on sale.

Social media has been active for months with gossip about the movie, including official tidbits about its cast and storyline, and trailers. (The one below generated nearly 11 million views on YouTube in the first 13 hours it was posted.)

Its verified Facebook page has more than 170,000 likes. But there are dozens of other unofficial pages with many more likes than that.

Of course, "Star Wars" toys are already on store shelves, including the very cool roll-y robot, BB-8. Yet, there is still another way to geek out that's also really helpful if you're a "Star Wars" newbie, or just want to brush up on the "Star Wars" world.

It's a site called Star Wars: An Interactive Galaxy, which lets you see the planets visited in each of the previous "Star Wars" movies. Not only that, you can click on each planet for details about its population and its climate.
