Experience in media advertising sales is required. Experience in broadcast and/or digital media is preferred. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial company with individual responsibility for driving sales and growing our advertiser base. The National Account Manager will work directly with large and small advertisers, as well as advertising agencies. This position will require an aggressive approach to making cold-calls, cultivating prospects, and developing a book-of-business from the ground up. The path to success will come from making many daily phone calls (cold calls), and sending many daily emails, in an aggressive pursuit to build a book-of-business.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sell radio, television, and digital advertisements to national advertisers and agencies
Aggressively make sales phone calls, send emails, and design effective proposals
Aggressively make cold-calls and identify new business opportunities
Maintain strong working relationships with advertisers and agencies
Work closely with Advertising Director to craft effective proposals and campaigns
Attend weekly sales meetings
Skills and Specifications
Media advertising sales experience, preferably in a the broadcast and/or digital space
Experience in negotiating advertising relationships with national advertisers and agencies
Experience in developing and selling multi-media advertising campaigns
Must be a self-starter who can prioritize and be productive with minimal oversight, and be confident and comfortable with your ability to find and develop your own leads
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of urgency in accomplishing goals
Education and Qualification
2+ years of successful sales experience
A track record of sales success and client development
An ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers
Experience in broadcast and/or digital advertising sales is a plus
Compensation Package This sales position provides an unlimited compensation opportunity. Selected candidates will receive a $50,000 base salary, a generous commission schedule, account protection, and no territorial restrictions. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including major medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life insurance, 401k with 100% employer match, and AFLAC group services. Paid time off includes sick days, corporate holidays, and personal vacation. This is a full-time, onsite position at our studio and corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona.
