WestStar Multimedia is looking for personable and talented candidates to facilitate the complexities and difficulties of workstation usage for technical and non-technical employees. This position requires a conscientious individual to be responsible for the day to day operations required to manage a modest-sized infrastructure utilizing both Windows and Mac workstations. This includes frequent, routine maintenance of workstations, printers, storage arrays, network equipment, and servers. Ideal candidates will need to be able to diagnose and resolve problems with these technologies effectively and quickly while keeping the bottom line in sight and ensuring that every employee is heard, understood, and cared for with a high level of professionalism.

What you’ll be doing:
Writing, reporting, producing, editing (think NY Post not NY Times)
Editing with Final cut pro, iMovie, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere
Conducting interviews and research to support articles and other stories.
Researching, brainstorming and developing pitches for content ideas and programs across multiple formats.
Collaborate with graphic designers to enhance story visuals
What you need:
Experience producing video for multiple social platforms
Great on air presence for Facebook live hits and on camera videos
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where quick turn-around times are expected
Social media experience including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIN
Must have a demo reel and writing samples.
One to two years working in a radio or television newsroom preferred
Bachelor’s degree in journalism preferred
Also must have an impeccable work ethic and be willing to work outside your job description to help the team succeed.
Salary is commensurate with experience and market size.
