Description

We are seeking one unique individual to directly assist our Executive Vice President in the development of new advertising clients and audience expansion opportunities.

This position will require aggressive daily research and cold calling to potential new advertisers, sponsors and partners, as well as connecting with many companies each day via telephone and email (mostly telephone). In addition to aggressive phone calls and emails, the Business Development Coordinator would also be expected to research potential advertisers to find proper contact information and other marketing/sales data.

As a Business Development Coordinator, you will not be “selling,” as your role will be to connect with (speak to) marketers and companies to identify if they would like to learn more about advertising on our network. Contacted companies that are seriously interested in learning more about how our multimedia products can help build their business and increase their sales will then be assigned to one of our sales professionals for continued conversation.

In addition to the above research and outreach, the Business Development Coordinator would also assist Executive Vice President as needed with proposals, client tasks and other functions necessary for continued departmental success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales support-related experience
  • Experience in broadcast and/or digital advertising sales is a plus

Compensation package

This sales position provides a $45,000 annual base salary, plus commission on new business generated by the sales department and initiated by your efforts.
