If you're looking to buy or sell something online, I'm guessing one of the first sites you turn to is eBay or Craigslist. And why wouldn't they be? Both have been at the forefront of online retailing, trading and auctioning for nearly two decades.
But these sites also have downsides. Craigslist isn't always the safest route to go, while eBay could be selling your private data. Not exactly what you want to sign up for when all you want to do is sell your stuff.
So for new, fun and fresh ways to get rid of and sell your stuff, check out our list of apps that can help you sell all the stuff you want to get rid of.
thredUP - Cleaning out your closet is easy. Selling your secondhand clothes is a little bit trickier, unless you're using the new thredUP app, available for both Apple and Android gadgets. With it, you can order a "Clean Out Kit" and thredUP will send you a bag in which you can put all of your items up for sale. Simply send the bag back to thredUP and they will list and sell the items for you.
