Every time you take out your smartphone to record a video, you probably have grand visions about how it'll turn out. One scene glides into the next, with music in the background and, of course, rolling credits at the end.
Yet, that's almost never how those videos turn out. You'll capture a scene, maybe of your family on vacation, but it'll be a few minutes of people yelling, and you moving the camera all over the place.
Somewhere in there are snippets of perfection when everyone is smiling, and your hands are steady. Which is the small piece of each video you'd string together into a movie, if you could.
Fortunately, you can do that with the easy-to-use and fun WeVideo apps for Android and iOS devices. (WeVideo also has a website where you can edit your videos for free; more on that in a minute.)
With the app, you select sections of your videos. Just touch and drag each one into the order you want them in your video.
For example, you might start with a scene of your kids packing their bags. Then, cut to everyone on the plane, then cut to a scene of your kids or grandchildren splashing each other in the ocean.
