Have you ever thought about learning to play the piano? Or, did you take lessons years ago, but want to start fiddling around again?

There's a pretty easy way to start practicing. And the best part is you won't spend thousands of dollars for a new piano, or pay delivery charges to have the huge instrument lugged into your house.

It's the My Piano Phone app for Android, iOS, and Windows phones. You can use it to learn to play music on multiple instruments, or to listen to music.

When you're in Acoustic Piano, for instance, you'll see a hand symbol in the upper right-hand corner. Tap on that hand. It will turn red, and you'll see piano keys turning red, one by one. Touch the keys as they light up, and suddenly you're playing a song.

You only see part of the piano keyboard, so you may need to scroll over to find keys that are lighting up. Or, tap the smaller keyboard icon underneath the hand. That'll change your view from one keyboard, to the keyboard split into two, so you can see more keys. (See photo.)

Note: You can also play on your Windows 10 PC's touch screen, or use your computer mouse.
