Where we're from, one of the first questions you'll be asked when you meet someone new is: Are you a Sun Devil or Wildcat? The rivalry between Arizona State University (ASU) and the University of Arizona (UofA) is strong, and it goes back generations. Friendships get ugly. Families are divided. Lovers quarrel.
Ok, maybe we're being somewhat dramatic—but it is a big deal. And it's not just here in the state of Arizona. College rivalries exist everywhere. Who's your team?
In the past, proving you were a diehard fan was more challenging. But now, it's easy. With the new Diehard Fan app from Image Metrics, you can paint your face without even getting sticky. All you need is your smartphone.
It works by taking a quick scan of your face, then it "paints" on your game face. Choose your favorite team, then swipe right or left to try different "masks" on. The digital designs look completely lifelike and move with your face. This means you can take photos and even record videos.
Once you've found that perfect game face, you can share your team spirit with your social network, so no one will ever question where your loyalty lies. The app connects to Vine, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, Tumblr, Facebook and even email.

Football season is well underway, so diehard fans should download this app now. It's free for both Apple and Android users.
The only downside is that Image Metrics only has rights and permissions from certain schools, so there are some colleges that aren't available.
