Are you ready for some serious holiday fun? In what might be the newest holiday tradition, people all over the globe are "elfing" themselves. I'm sure you've seen one before. You know, those little fun videos that star you and your friends and family as little dancing elves for Christmas?
With the Elf Yourself app (and accompanying website), you can put your face and the face of friends and family onto elves' bodies and watch them dance around to fun music, in fun places.
There are 13 different dances to choose from - break dancing, honky tonk, hip hop and even Elfspanol, so there's something for everyone. It's a riot - just imagine your friends dancing around in elf costumes to all sorts of funky tunes.
Note: Only one option is free in the app. Other songs and dances will cost you $1. If you want to get around this charge however, you can get them for free on the official Elf Yourself website.
Getting started is simple. All you have to do is upload a photo that you want to use from your phone's camera roll, Facebook, or Instagram. Or, you can also take a new photo with your smartphone's camera.
Adjust the faces accordingly, then all that's left to do is select your song and dance. You can scroll through all 13 choices to choose which song works best for the friend or family member you're creating the video for.
When you're video is wrapped up, you can send it to friends and family via email, Facebook, Twitter, post it directly to YouTube, or simply copy and paste the link. What great dances will you come up with?
