Facebook privacy settings you need to change now!

Q. A friend of mine said she recently saw my name in a Facebook ad for sushi at a local restaurant. I don't even like seafood! How did this happen and how can I stop Facebook from using my name in ads? Thank you so much.

A. I know the feeling, Carol. Facebook seemingly isn't afraid to use anything it can to make money. It's very annoying.

It's happened to me. Shady outfits use pictures of me from time to time to sell products. If you see one of these ads, do me a favor. Report them to Facebook. In case you want to see an example of these ads you might see on Facebook, click here.

Unfortunately for me, I have to go through a lengthy fight to have the ads that steal my likeness taken down. Fortunately, it's much easier for you to have your name scrubbed from Facebook ads.

You just need to know where the secret settings are located on Facebook. But I know where they are and will share all the steps you need to take.
