Q. Hi, Kim. I just picked up a great DSLR with help from your buying guide. I had some questions about memory cards, though. Should I buy CompactFlash or SD? How much storage do I need? I keep seeing all of these random numbers and letters on them, too. What do those mean? Thanks in advance for all of your help.

A camera isn't the only thing you need, of course. You need memory cards to store your pictures.
