You're fed up with your wireless network. It's slow and spotty in certain parts of the house and you've already tried my suggestions for improving the speed and range. So, you decide to buy a new router.
If you head out to the store or online, you'll find routers with a range of prices. The more expensive the router, the more features you get.
But does it really make sense to own a top-of-the-line-router? That's the question that I was asking myself after discovering the Asus RT-AC87U, the newly-crowned fastest router of all time.
I should mention that the price tag is a hefty $280. If you're going to be spending that much, then it better be something special.
