Now if you've spotted a new toy that you just have to have, chances are hundreds or thousands of others have the exact same idea, too. Thanks to sophisticated inventory management systems, retailers from big-box stores to the online giants measure demand almost minute-by-minute - and are able to price accordingly. So companies actually know what you're looking for. But don't count on that "blow-out" sale to give you the best bargain.
Simply put, my starting point for advising my listeners on how to save on tech is to consider the other party's interests. You're not looking for a sale when you want to save money; you're looking for identifying a product that a seller wants to sell.
Just remember, once you've decided to spend your money on a product, you don't need to be sold. You just want to find the lowest price. Follow along and I'll show you how.
