Update your iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch

By now you've heard the buzz around Apple's next generation iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. Click here to find out if you should buy one.

These come pre-loaded with iOS 7, the latest version of Apple's popular operating system. It comes loaded with your favorite apps like Siri and FaceTime, plus some great new features.

Best of all, starting today iOS 7 is completely free for Apple's other gadgets. If you have an iPhone 4, 4s or 5, Apple's latest software will update the look, feel and speed of your old gadget.

If you own an iPad 2 and up, iPod Touch or iPad Mini, you can get iOS 7 too. It's like getting a new gadget - only you don't have to stand in line!

I've checked out the software's latest apps and features.

Let's start with the look and feel of iOS 7. Apple has given its iOS a complete makeover, right down to new fonts, icons and the way wallpaper looks on your gadget.

It uses your gadget's motion sensors to create virtual layers that shift as you tilt the phone. It gives app a floating, 3D feel.

While it definitely looks cleaner, there's more to iOS 7 than new fonts and icons.

One of the biggest features missing from earlier versions of iOS was quick access to system controls. iOS 7 makes up for this with a new Control Center.
