I recently talked to a listener who was having trouble with her Windows 8 computer. It would crash whenever she tried to update Windows and was generally unstable.

She blamed Windows 8, but 8 is actually a stable operating system - it's just annoying to use. Learn how Microsoft is making it better.

When I asked her about security software, she had some installed. However, it came out that she hadn't been installing her Windows updates regularly before the problem began. That left several security holes open.
