I am looking for software to stitch photos together into a video. I have a GoPro camera that will take shots every .5s,1s etc. I would like to stitch these together to make a time lapse video. Also I would like a program to handle video editing. Is there a program that will do both. Will Adobe photo elements do this?

First, try what may be available already on your computer. Windows (Live) Movie Maker will do what you are describing, simply pull in the photos in order to make a time-lapse video, and output in .wmv or .avi format. Make sure you do NOT have any transitions inserted between frames. The Windows Live packaging also includes a photo editor for free from Microsoft.

As far as Adobe Photo Elements, I don't have the program, so I can't help you there.

Comment about Adobe Photo Element and perhaps a question. On Sunday's show, Kim recommended Photo Element @$79. I have Adobe Pro and use it in my business daily.

Tried to download Adobe Photo Element yesterday and it kept asking me what other Adobe Photo program I had that I was upgrading to Element. Would not let me buy Element without owning someother Adobe Photo program. What am I doing wrong?

CindyLou,

Small problem continues. I went to online chat and got help from Adobe. Kim stated the cost was $79. Unfortunately, the only version they will let me buy is a full version of elements and $99. Is it worth it??

Buying from Amazon.com as of this date, the price for Photo Elements 10 is about $81 + shipping, and avoids the Adobe gotchas.

COSTCO would be the way to go, so it seems. Thanks.
