i was active duty from '79 - '99. worked on support aircraft. rosie the riveteer. :) changed brakes, etc you name it. my fondest memories being overseas, are of food. the great food in sicily, the lamb in iceland. all the free holiday meals at the uso. uso really took care of us. free movies, place to hang out. holiday meals worth remembering. no one yelled if you stretched out on the couch, or put your feet on the table. reminded us of being home.
