I am overwhelmed with the amount of info on various e-readers available. Some sites contradict other sites and I don't know anyone who owns a fire or nook tablet. Kim's video is pre-fire, pre-nook tablet. Anyone have any info to share that would guide my purchase? Thanks.
I got my wife a Nook Tablet for Christmas and she loves it. There are basically two types of readers, ones that use "e-ink" and others that use an lcd (color) display. Each has its pluses/minuses. The LCD screens look great - color books/magazines, etc. But LCD screens are harder to read in bright light (outside) and their batteries only last 8-12 hours or so. E-ink readers can be read fine in bright light but not so well in dim light. However, their batteries can last for a month or more. No color on e-ink readers.
