| I just bought myself a Nook Color and would like to create a WiFi at my home. I am using Wildblue as my ISP. Just so you know I am ignorant on this subject so if you can please avoid the jargonese which I assure you, I will not understand. I am using Windows 7, and I have a Netgear router. Thanks, Shortchange |

Have you locked down your wireless router as Kim recommends in her article: http://www.komando.com/tips/index.aspx?id=1629 ?
If you haven't, do so immediately if not sooner.
If you have locked down your router, you will need the access password which you created when you locked down the network to access the wireless network from your new Nook color. This will probably mean learning how to access the keyboard on your Nook and how to start the connection, which I don't have the knowledge with which to help you at this time, but maybe someone else can.
WiFi is simply wireless access to your Internet connection, so once you have secured your network and figured out how to connect to that connection from the Nook, you will have your WiFi connection. |
