Talking Clock
After closing time at the bar, a drunk was proudly showing off his new apartment to a couple of his friends. He led the way to his bedroom where there was a big brass gong and a mallet.
'What's that big brass gong?' one of the guests asked.
'It's not a gong. It's a talking clock,' the drunk replied..
'A talking clock? Seriously?' asked his astonished friend.
'Yup,' replied the drunk.
'How's it work?' the friend asked, squinting at it.
'Watch,' the drunk replied. He picked up the mallet, gave the gong an ear-shattering pound and stepped back. .
The three stood looking at one another for a moment.......
Suddenly, someone on the other side of the wall screamed, 'You *******! It's three-fifteen in the morning!'

How to Tell the Sex of a Fly
A woman walked into the kitchen to find her husband stalking around with a fly swatter
'What are you doing?' She asked.
'Hunting Flies' He responded.
'Oh! Killing any?' She asked.
'Yep, 3 males, 2 Females,' he replied. Intrigued, she asked. 'How can you tell them apart?'
He responded,
'3 were on a beer can,
2 were on the phone.

That was cute Cindy Lou. Thanks for the chuckle. I needed it while taking a break from shoveling. We have 24 inches at BWI and still going up.
Governor O'Malley is praying for 28 so we get funding assistance from the feds.

We've had 18 inches in two snows here in the Texas panhandle, 13 then 5 on top. Now another one is forecast tomorrow, hope the weather man is wrong. They forecast 40 degrees for today but it is still struggling to get up to that. This much snow is rare but it happens once in a blue moon

Well I finally dug out of the more than 2 feet of snow. This storm was the one that came across Texas the beginning of the week and then came up the east coast. We had lightning and thunder overnight as it dumped 2 to 3 inches an hour. Everything is shut down. BWI is down until probably Monday. There are some from Baltimore that have super bowl tix that can't get there. I can move (I have 4wd) but there are some idiots out there. One was trying to get up the hill at the beginning of the street in a ford taurus. didn't get very far. He finally backed down and let me go by. We are only plowed one car width (not bad since we are on a one way street) but at least I am able to get out. So I may be running for kids as they are still snowed in. Some streets aren't plowed yet (we have our own plows in my community as it is a cooperative). Erica's is also plowed as her apartment complex hired a private service. Raymond is still waiting. Main roads are passable, but just barely.

Oh - forgot to post this. Someone posted a pix of a snowman on a park bench with a noose around it's neck and the rope slung over a tree branch. Guess the person that did it was tired of shoveling the stuff. It was on the bulletin board at work. Will try to copy and post on my picasaweb page.
