What are your children doing with their free time? I’ll bet they spend a good deal online. That’s not a bad thing if they visit the right sites.
There are plenty of fun and educational sites. Your children can find great information. And they can do worthwhile activities. I’ve found several sites you’ll want to share with them.
FFFBI – This site is great for amateur sleuths. It features loveable animal detectives. Children will play games and solve clever mysteries. The activities are intended to test their critical-thinking and research skills.
Kerpoof – Disney recently purchased this creativity suite. It features simple tools for drawing and painting. Kids can make greeting cards and comic book-style stories. A movie creator section will test kids’ programming and editing abilities. And they can share their creations with other users.
The Stacks – This site will encourage your children to pick up a good book. It comes from kid-friendly publisher Scholastic. It features games and communities around popular kids’ books. They’ll have to know the books and characters inside and out. And that means reading.
