Is someone trying to contact us from the great beyond? Not the afterlife, but beyond our galaxy and life as we know it. Apparently, we've been receiving signals from an unknown source for quite some time.

These mysterious types of signals are called fast radio bursts (FRB) because they only last a few milliseconds. On February 15, 2015, the Parkes Telescope in Australia received the 22nd FRB in a 10-year period.

Even though it's been two years, scientists still can't explain where it came from. Researchers at Harvard believe they could be caused by advanced alien technology or alien space travel.

But a recent study from Cornell said that scientists are still debating where these radio waves came from. Another theory is that they are the result of huge neutron stars emitting massive rays.

There aren't even clues as to what direction these waves are coming from. All they know for sure is that they originate outside of the Milky Way.

It just goes to show that although scientists can explain so much, there are still many things they don't know. Or at least not yet.

Where do you think the FRBs are coming from? Let me know in the comments section below.
