Amazon launches cheap photo printing service

Your family photos are priceless. Technology has made it easier than ever to capture that perfect moment to remember forever. Picture taking has come a long way, whether you're using your powerful camera on your smartphone or you have a professional quality camera. They're both great options.

There are also a number of great ways to store your pictures, from the old-fashioned photo album to keeping them digitally in the cloud. Now, Amazon is getting into the photo business.

Amazon recently introduced its new photo-printing service called Amazon Prints. The new service has very competitive prices, with the cost of printed photos starting at 9 cents each. The cost of a photo book starts at $19.99.

Amazon Prints is another feature that Prime members will love. Prime members already have free photo storage from the site, which makes it very convenient to task Amazon with printing their pictures and photo books.

If you are not an Amazon Prime member, you need to sign up for Amazon Drive to get unlimited storage of files, photos and videos. Amazon Drive costs $59.99 per year but there is a free 30-day trial being offered if you want to try it out. For an extra $40 per year, customers may choose to sign up for Prime to take advantage of the extra benefits.
