By Komando Staff, Komando.com 27,57427.5k In response to growing awareness to end-of-life situations, Facebook has overhauled the way it deals with profiles and timelines when a user passes away. What will happen to your Facebook page if something should happen to you? If a loved one dies, do you know what to do with their account?Previously, when a person passes away, Facebook would turn the page into a memoralized profile, only visible to that person's friends. The new rules have changed a little bit. The new memorialized profile will be set to whatever that person had it set to while still alive. So if the deceased had a private profile, it will remain private. If the profile was public, it will remain public.Facebook will also let the deceased's loved ones create a "Look Back" video.Click here to see the full statement from Facebook.
