Spam blockers are great. They keep you from receiving unwanted emails, including ones that could contain viruses or links to malicious sites. Unfortunately, the spam blocker in Earthlink Mail is causing some of my readers to miss out on my helpful daily newsletters.
That's why I've put together these easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions to ensure that you keep getting my newsletters uninterrupted. Don't worry; it only takes a minute and a few clicks.
Check your spam folder(s)
Earthlink has two spam folders. One is for "suspect" email that it doesn't know for sure is spam. These emails are kept for 14 days. The other folder is for "known" spam, and these are deleted right away.
If you don't see my newsletters, they're most likely in the Suspect Email folder, but if they aren't there, check the Known Spam folder as well.
Log in to your Earthlink account, then open the Suspect Email folder in the left-hand column.
If you see one or more of my newsletters in the folder, click the checkboxes next to them. Then select "Move to Inbox & Add Contact" from the pull-down menu and click "Go." Now, you should be able to see my newsletters in the future with no hassle.
If you find a newsletter in the Known Spam folder, click the checkbox next to it and click the "Send to My Inbox" button. It would also be helpful to me if you would first click the "This Is NOT spam" button. Earthlink will take a look at it to "determine why it was mistakenly classified as spam."
Just keep in mind that you will need to do this for each of my newsletters that you receive. Here's a list of my Komando newsletters and the email address of each one.
Not getting all of these emails? You can manage the newsletters you get here.
You're all set! That wasn't too hard, was it? If you're still having trouble, though, feel free to contact my Customer Service.
