The Web is just one big information resource. You can find data on nearly anyone—your boss, neighbor or kids.
But a Google search could turn up thousands of results. That’s not handy. Thankfully, tools are available for finding people.
Wink–Search MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social-networking sites. This is great if you don’t know where someone has a profile. Search by name, age, city, school or interests.
PeekYou–This also searches social-networking sites. In addition, it checks more obscure resources. You’ll find news stories, business pages and blogs. It’ll search Wikipedia and YouTube. You’ll get instant messaging profiles and fan sites.
CVgadget–Use this site to search by name. Again, it will go through social-networking sites. It will also search Google’s popular services. You'll even get related images, documents, blogs, news articles and videos.
Pipl–This site searches the deep Web. Those are pages that are not regularly indexed by search engines. This can include public records, online store profiles and member directories. You’ll also find news articles and other publications.
