Sometimes, I like to listen to music while I'm surfing the Internet. It makes Internet research more enjoyable.

Unfortunately, on some sites, music or videos begin when a page loads. This makes a cacophonous racket, drowning out my music.

Worse, some sites make it difficult to stop the music or video.

Well, I have a solution. I use Stop Autoplay. This Firefox extension stops embedded music and videos from playing automatically.

Of course, I can start the media if I want. There's also an approved list. Media will automatically play on the sites I specify.
