Oh, of course. You can't see the extra data. It's there, though. And it may tell things about you that you'd rather not disclose.
The hidden information is called metadata. It's socked away in the photo file's header. It can disclose such things as when and where the picture was taken, who took it and the name and model of the camera.
You might want to edit this information before posting a photo on the Web. Editing is easy with Microsoft Photo Info. Just download and install this program. Then right-click the picture in Windows Explorer. The metadata is easily accessed.
