This program allows you to set up hotkeys (keyboard shortcuts) for nearly anything you'd like to do in Windows. Setting up a hotkey is often as easy as typing a single line into the program.
AutoHotkey has a great time-saving features called Hotstrings. You can set special words or letters that will be automatically replaced by whatever text you choose. Use it for repetitive typing such as names and addresses. You could even assign a whole form letter that can go into e-mail, word processing or Web forms.
You can also assign specific keyboard combinations to start your programs. AutoHotkey uses its own code to understand your hotkeys. It's easy to learn, but be sure to read through AutoHotkey's quick tutorial.
