The book will help you become a pro at taking pictures. However, taking pictures isn't the end of things. You'll also want to edit them before sharing.
Editing allows you to remove unwanted background objects, adjust colors and white balance or add any number of nifty effects. You can make versions of the image for sharing online, printing and more.
Of course, to do this you'll need photo editing software. There are lots of free programs out there for various skill levels. Here are some that I recommend.
Beginner PicMonkey - This is a great online tool for beginning photo editors. You just upload your photo and go to town. It has plenty of basic photo editing options like crop, rotate and some color balancing.
