More than 45% of Internet users worldwide use either Internet Explorer or its newer Edge.IE and Edge have a lot of competition these days. In fact, Google's Chrome (37%) is expected to become the most-used Web browser sometime this year. Plus, Mozilla's Firefox (12%) and Apple's Safari (5%) are becoming more popular. Which is one reason why Microsoft launched Edge last summer.
